About This Package

You’ll stay six nights in cosy chalet-style lodges at Rukan Salonki and enjoy a curated selection of authentic sauna evenings—each with its own story—from the legendary Seven Star Smoke Sauna at Isokenkäisten Klubi to lakeside sauna moments at Iisakki Village (with an option for sauna yoga), plus unique experiences at Pohjolan Pirtti, Rukan Salonki and Pyhäpiilo.

In winter, each sauna visit can be paired with the invigorating Finnish ritual of ice swimming. All sauna venues are certified under the Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience quality programme, ensuring a genuine atmosphere and high standards.

Your package includes accommodation, daily breakfast and dinner, and all sauna experiences—often complemented by wild food dinners and local delicacies. Optional Arctic adventures can be added to your itinerary, such as husky sledding, a reindeer farm visit, a snowmobile safari, or seasonal activities like snowshoeing, skiing or ice karting.

With expert sauna guidance and the chance to try refreshing winter swimming, this journey offers the perfect blend of relaxation, tradition, and authentic Nordic wellness.

Husky safari 10km

When you arrive at the lakeside husky camp, you’ll be greeted by the joyful barking of excited huskies. After a brief safety orientation, you’ll set off on a thrilling 10 km adventure with your own husky team, taking turns as musher and passenger. As you glide through the beautiful Arctic landscape, you’ll experience the bond you´re forming with these incredible dogs. Once back at the camp, enjoy a warm snack in the kota and learn more about huskies.

Reindeer farm visit

Join us for a magical morning as you feed hundreds of our beloved reindeer! Immerse yourself in authentic farm life surrounded by breathtaking nature. Snap stunning photos amidst the reindeer and explore a delightful handicraft workshop and charming farm shop. Experience the heart of Lapland and learn more about reindeer with a hot drink and a snack.

Snowmobile introduction

Join us for an introduction safari through stunning arctic landscapes! Our expert wilderness guide will teach you the essentials of safe driving, and no experience is required. Drivers need a valid license, children will travel in a sledge pulled by the guide. Even if you have tried snowmobiling before, you will discover new terrain and have beautiful views to enjoy.

Accommodation at Rukan Salonki

You’ll stay in cosy chalet-style lodges at Rukan Salonki, surrounded by snowy forests and peaceful nature. Chalets are available in 2-person or 4-person sharing, offering comfort, privacy and space to unwind between sauna evenings and adventures.
