The village can be visited independently by using public transport or with a local guide and private transfers. There are several shops in the village, all selling souvenirs, handicrafts and clothing. You might want to send a greeting home from Santa Claus Post Office, that is also a place worth visiting while in Santa Claus Village.
Furthermore there are several cafés and restaurants in the village and you can pop in for just a coffee, delicious hamburgers and salads or one of the Lappish treats – glow fried salmon.
